Located on the corner of Pall Mall and Cockspur Street West, this imposing block is one of the nicest contemporary developments we've seen. What could have been a very ordinary building has been transformed by the use of high-quality materials, attractive facades and some clever design touches. We love the private central courtyard with its decked terraces and the full-height windows let in plenty of light. The black marble cladding on the ground floor and the silver-tiled cladding above gives the building a luxurious feeling and there are some nice layouts too. The location is very central, although Highfield Street at the back of the building is a little scruffy. Despite this we've given Hamilton House a 9/10 for the great attention-to-detail throughout
