Macintosh Mills is an imposing and handsome conversion of the Victorian Macintosh Rubber Works - it's beautifully detailed and full of original features. There are acres of exposed brick walls, lots of iron columns and great attention to detail throughout. Although it's a conversion, the ceilings aren't as high as we'd hoped for and we're not crazy about the carpet in the communal halls either, but Macintosh Mills is still one of Manchester's finest conversions.
