Central Gardens is a small and discreet block, tucked quietly up a side street between Mount Pleasant and Renshaw Street. It's a pleasant, contemporary design with plenty of wide balconies and a large private full-height atrium giving access to the apartments. Because the building is constructed at the top of sloping Benson Street, there are uninterrupted views from most apartments and we particularly like the units that overlook the quiet public park on the west side of the block. There are some superb duplex apartments on the top two floors with full-height glazing and wide terraces. The communal spaces are fine and the kitchens and bathrooms are OK - althogh slightly better finishes would have seen this attractive block get a much higher Luvthecity rating. Nevertheless, Central Gardens is great value, you can walk to Lime Street station in a couple of minutes and there's a Tesco Express in the next building (if you run out of milk late at night!)
