The Focus Building is a fantastic piece of contemporary architecture - city centres would be so much nicer if all new blocks looked this good! Set around a private full-height atrium with deck access to all apartments, this six-storey block has tons of great design features. We love the curved roof, the steel cladding and the large internal balconies and there is tons of glass everywhere. The communal spaces are well thought-out and the internal finishes are good. Located on the far eastern fringes of the business district, you can walk into the city in less than five minutes and although the surrounding buildings aren't particularly attractive, The Focus Building's great design more than makes up for it. It's not one of the city's most expensive block and the room sizes aren't particularly generous, but we've given the block a top 10/10 rating for its innovation and clever design on a budget
