One of Liverpool's landmark residential buildings, Alexandra Tower sits at the northern edge of Princes Dock and has 360degree uninterrupted views across the docks, the River Mersey and the city centre. This elegant 28-storey tower looks great with its curved facade, full-height glazing and pistachio-green cladding and the views have to be seen to be believed. Most of the apartments have generous room sizes, whilst some of the larger units have huge reception spaces with concrete columns, full-height glazing and wooden floors. It's not 100% perfect though; the kitchens feel unfinished with their lack of splashback tiling and low-cost sinks, but on the whole it's beautifully done
