The Leftbank apartments are located in the heart of Spinningfields, Manchester's answer to London's Canary Wharf. Predominantly a business district, a lot of effort has been put into developing a more social side to the area with plenty of new bars, coffee shops and restaurants. When the apartments were first sold they were advertised as having 'the largest spaces in Manchester' and they don't disappoint. The internal hallways are wide, the living rooms are huge and there's tons of storage space too. The kitchens and bathrooms are particularly well-designed with top-quality fittings. We love this location, it's seconds from Deansgate but lovely and quiet at weekends. Our only real criticism is the communal decor - the hallways are painted an ugly shade of turquoise, making the block feel more like a Bupa hospital than an upmarket residential development. But turquoise paint aside, the Leftbank Apartments are one of THE best addresses in town - you'll find it difficult to find anything larger and quieter
