This was the first development to be built in this quiet backwater of Oxford Road and it still looks pretty good. It's an attractive contemporary design with curved steel balconies and wide expanses of glass. The quality is good, the communal areas are smart and the living spaces are generous. City South used to have panoramic views of the city centre but recent residential developments have blocked many of these views - but it's not all bad, the surrounding streets are nice and quiet, and many apartments have lovely views of the private central garden. It's also pretty convenient for town with the vibrant bars at Deansgate Locks just a couple of minutes walk away
