This contemporary development on the corner of Oxford Road and Whitworth Street West is absolutely huge! With its extra-wide street frontage, W3 has such an imposing presence it's difficult to imagine what was there before. But since it's construction it has helped to regenerate this area, turning it from an entertainment district into a residential one. Despite its hulking size there's plenty to recommend it; from the spacious room sizes to the panoramic views and the distinctive copper facade. The 11-storey block has tons of apartment types, so it's never difficult to find a good design. The Rochdale Canal snakes quietly behind the block giving the apartments at the back quiet water views, but we like the ones at the front just as much, there's plenty of life to watch on a Saturday night!
