This is one of our favourite warehouse conversions in Manchester, a Grade-II listed building in a rapidly-improving area just west of Deansgate. The Model Lodging house is bursting with character, from its beautifully detailed red-brick facade to the huge full-height glass-covered atrium. And the loft apartments are great too, they have exposed brick walls, iron columns and the best wooden beamed ceilings in the city. Yet despite all of this, the block is still good value-for-money and it's opposite our favourite city centre pub, the wonderful Kings Arms!
